Exotic Luxury Spa Tour

For the Exotic Spa Tour in Dec/Jan 2023/24, 9 days riding, 10 nights luxury accommodation, 10 Cooked Breakfast, 5 wonderful dinners, 2 x guides, luggage support van, Interisland cruise:

Day 1 (28 December 2023)

Arrive in New Zealand - Christchurch International Airport - you will be booked into a first class hotel nearby the airport and our rental depot.

Day 2 (29th December 2023)

Christchurch – Maruia Springs (Maruia Springs Thermal Resort) 200km
Our first day of riding will visit a wonderful wine producing area call Waipara noted for it’s Pinot noir. We then head inland over the mighty Southern Alps via Lewis Pass. Here hidden in the forest is our first night at a natural Thermal Resort totally off grid and powered by geothermal and water energy! Welcome dinner included.

Day 3 (30th December 2023)

Maruia Springs – via West Coast to Franz Glacier. Todays ride finishes the traverse of the Southern Alps then heads along the coast – a combination of twisty sea and rainforest roads - spectacular riding all day! 320km

Day 4 (31st December 2023)

Franz Josef Glacier to Queenstown
Todays ride takes us past the world’s fastest moving Fox Glacier back over the Sothern Alps via Haast Pass, on the way is spectacular scenery of mountains and deep blue lakes. After riding you can relax with some of the world’s best wines and a spa. 360km

Day 5 (1st January 2024)

Queenstown visit Glenorchy then onto Lake Tekapo
From Queenstown we take a side trip with your guide to where some of the most dramatic scenes from the movie “Lord of the Rings” was filmed “Lothlorien & Isengard” – will be a long day on the bike and one of the best riding days you will ever do! 370+km

Day 6 (2nd January 2024)

Lake Tekapo- Mt Somers-Darfield-Christchurch to Cheviot Tonight’s accommodation is at wonderful B&B’s – Dinner (included) will be hosted by Ellis & Sanna at “The Tree House” a truly special evening. 340km

Day 7 (3rd January 2024)

Cheviot to Picton – Interisland Ferry to Wellington
Twisty mountain and coastal roads take us to the top of the South Island for the Interisland Ferry Crossing. This is a beautiful cruise on a Vehicle & Ferry Ship. 250km + Cruise 100km

Day 8 (4th January 2024)

Wellington to Havelock North (Mangapapa Luxury Hotel & Spa)
Every day on this tour is a highlight, not only the riding but also the destinations. Tonight, you will enjoy fine wines and a 5-course degustation. This special wine tasting & dinner by some of NZ’s top chefs is included in the tour price. 350km

Day 9 (5th January 2024)

Havelock North to Rotorua
We travel now to the geothermal wonderland of the Rotorua region. Enjoy the thermal pools and friendly Māori culture. 250km

Day 10 (6th January 2024)

Rotorua to Auckland
Todays ride concludes an amazing adventure and finishes with a farewell banquet dinner. 260km

Our roads are well maintained with a grippy surface making motorcycling so much fun exploring the diversity New Zealand has to offer.
